A little tenderness

I snapped up this cross-stitch kit from Junebug and Darlin just about the day they released it, after falling in love with the completed versions they sold in their store. It’s a whopping 10″ hoop and took me a good few weeks to complete, especially with the finickiness of the gold thread. It’s incredibly lovely when finished, a real statement piece with a worthwhile message.

The kit was beautifully packaged with clear instructions and both a single-page chart of the whole piece and close-ups of each quadrant, which helped a lot. I did run out of red floss about 2/3 of the way through, which surprised me as I was following their directions on use. But I got in touch with them and Zoe sent me a second skein right away!

Junebug and Darlin still have kits available, as well as the pattern for sale as a PDF, so get yours and get stitching!
